$ python -c "import this"
At Suade we are building the tools to fully automate regulatory compliance in the financial industry. This creates interesting challenges at the intersection of vast amounts of structured data (billions of deposits/loans), unstructured data (thousands of regulations). Add to this the intricacies of working with very large regulated organisations (banks) and public institutions (regulators) and you get a set of uniquely interesting problems to solve.
Some key facts:
- We have been profitable since year 1 and haven't needed VC funding.
- We were one of the first software companies to deploy docker, in 2015, in production, at scale, in a heavily regulated industry.
- We have contributed to some well-known open source projects (ex. PyPy, SQLAlchemy, Crane).
- We maintain an open source data standard initiaited with an EU grant.
Day to day you'll be working together with a tight team of ambitious engineers using methodologies like TDD, Kanban, pair-programming, and CI/CD. Building a fault tolerant distributed system is definitely an interesting challenge we hope you will enjoy.
A highlight of the tools and tech you'll use:
- Python (3)
Ideally, you're passionate about systems development, open source technologies and solving complex problems at scale and you have experience with and/or are keen to learn these technologies.
