ESAs publish Spring 2026 Joint Risk Update

Bank of England finalises changes to resolution reporting and disclosure requirements

26 March 2026

The Bank of England finalised reforms to resolution reporting and disclosure, reducing frequency for smaller firms and simplifying MREL reporting. From April 2026, firms with less than £100bn in retail deposits will move to biennial resolvability assessments, reducing burden while maintaining resolvability standards.
