FINTECH CEO: If you're an entrepreneur, why would you set up in the UK now?

Diana Paredes, CEO of Suade, was asked for an interview with Business Insider.

In the interview, Suade’s CEO encourages everyone to try entrepreneurship to discover new processes of working and find a role that works for them. Diana points out that:

“You can lose yourself in the uncertainty or you can enjoy the immediacy of it and enjoy being the captain of your own ship.”

As an entrepreneur, Diana understands the importance of growing the business while keeping existing customers happy. A big focus for growing the business is expanding in Europe, particularly in business-friendly jurisdictions. Whilst Brexit has not affected Suade directly, Suade’s CEO highlights the importance of open borders and collaboration with other jurisdictions to maintain London’s status as a leading financial and FinTech centre in Europe and the world. Despite peer pressure to look for external funding, Diana has been able to grow Suade organically.
