Global momentum in DEI

Persistent gaps in labour-market participation, representation in leadership, and pay for underrepresented groups—including women, people of colour, LGBTQI+ individuals, and people with disabilities—continue to pose barriers. This year’s DEI Lighthouse Programme saw submissions from 17 industries, including financial services, reflecting a growing commitment to long-term, structural DEI initiatives. The 2025 report highlights a shift across sectors—from reactive measures to embedded strategies that create environments where all employees can succeed.
